Laurie Idahosa became a licensed and ordained Minister through Victory Fellowship of Ministries in Delaware, USA in 1992, while she was still a student in the School of Biblical Studies and School of Ministerial Studies. She served as an Assistant Pastor under the leadership of her father, Dr. Gary Whetstone as a single person for over a decade. During this time she was the Director of Missions and Outreach and she oversaw over a hundred outreach departments and led missionary journeys to many countries through Victory and through her role with Morris Cerullo World Evangelism. When Rev. Laurie moved to Nigeria to marry Bishop Feb Idahosa, she became a Pastor in Church of God Mission and served joyously at the Faith Arena Headquarters church with her husband for 10 years. After 10 years of service at the Headquarter Church, she was given the responsibility to pastor a thriving Church, CGMI, Church Unusual just five minutes away from the Headquarter Church. Church Unusual (CU) focuses on youth and empowering the next generation of leadership. She is now a National Presbyter with Church of God Mission, overseeing the CU province and several churches including the ones in Sapele, Benin City, Warri and Abuja. Rev. Laurie is active as a Senior Pastor in her congregation and frequently serves as a support to other Pastors most especially within the Church of God Mission community. She is an avid student of the Word of God and is well versed in a multiplicity of subject matters. She enjoys hosting national and international guest speakers and music ministers in the church she pastors and has built a thriving reputation for hosting some of the most remarkable church programs in her city. She is passionate about evangelism and uses all means accessible to her to reach the lost and to be relevant to the community around her.
